About Derham
Derham Cole was born in Columbia, South Carolina in 1977 to Derham and Candace Cole. He moved to Spartanburg when we was just a few months old, and attended Spartanburg County public schools from elementary school through his high school graduation in 1995.
Derham earned his degree in business economics, cum laude, with honors from the University of South Carolina Honors College. He continued his education at USC by earning his Master of International Business Studies from the Moore School of Business and his law degree from the School of Law. Derham practices law with the Wilkes Bowers, P.A. firm in Spartanburg. His practice emphasizes business transactions and business litigation.
Derham was elected to the South Carolina House of Representatives in 2008. He has served on the Judiciary Committee since his election, and currently sits on the Constitutional Laws subcommittee. In recognition of his commitment to business in South Carolina, he has twice earned the Business Advocate Award from the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce.
Derham is married to the former Suzy Boulware. He enjoys spending time with family, traveling, reading and playing the occasional round of golf. He is a member of the Spartanburg Rotary Club and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Arts Partnership of Greater Spartanburg.
